Great realistic and story driven short horror game.
My playthrough:
(SPOILERS BELOW)
My thoughts on the game:
Amazing graphics! They look really good.
I really liked the story driven aspect of it - Instead of relying on random jumpscares and a silly story, this one is filled with mystery, which is a great way to make horror!
I wish the game was less silent.
Weird how the main character just brushes off the attic door being wide open out of nowhere, and not to mention not closing it right after walking out either.
People who sleep with open doors are very odd.
Overall, amazing horror game! The mystery is what makes me like the horror game so much. It's not clear-cut what happens to the protagonist at the end of the game and neither is it very clear what the child was fully experiencing.
The game is interesting because it manages to create a horror based on conscious fear. It deviates from the standard used in normal horror games. By improving the visuals and making them less generic, I can see a totally original game.
This was amazing for creating such a tense atmosphere with minimal scares! The fear of just walking around was so tangible and amazing! Great job and I look forward to more games!
This one surprised me. Really scary, and incredibly well done. You have a bright future ahead of you! It's third in the video, but I consider that headlining!
this was a nice game, I enjoyed the little story and I agree that everyone out there has that one very specific fear that can keep them up at night, thank you for taking the time to make this game! Gameplay starts at 10:25
Awesome game! Most people have some form of phobia or something that creeps them out, especially at night. Mine are bugs and ths unknown that go bump in the night. Game here:
Stepping into this game, I wasn’t expecting the experience I had. It captured, for me, just a unsettling atmosphere of normal life. The fear the anyone can have, rather it be attic, basement or closet. Gone_North, thank you for the experience and I hope to see future projects! "Whose Up There!?!" There Is A Man In The Attic: WillBotch
This game had me feeling stressed out lol! Excellent job building up the suspense! I think that a really intense jumpscare could make the ending even stronger, but I think this game has the potential to be extended! I put the link to this game in a Discord server for creators that I'm in!
Unlike other small indie games the graphics on this one are pretty nice and detailed. I'm always frightened of turning around and seeing something out the corner of my eye so this game really struck a nerve with me. Definitely was creepy was totally waiting for a jump scare at the end.
The Game used scary atmosphere and tension to awake fear in the players without jumpscares which I appreciate. Lighting and models were great but it would be great if movement can be a bit faster and the game a bit longer.
Although nothing spectacular happened, the game reeled you in, like a hapless fish in the water. Slowly, but surely, the fact there might be someone in the house with you, begins to get to you.
Except for me nearly getting stuck at the sink, this game was very enjoyable to play. So, kudos to all involved.
The atmosphere and tension build up in this game was amazing. Really made me feel like a horror story from my childhood, feeling uneasy and scared of every corner! Great work!
Hey! I really enjoyed this short experience. Beautifully done graphics and environment and I liked the storytelling aspect of the game. Thank you so much for sharing!
