Hey Gone North! Thanks so much for making this game, I really don´t know why I got so frightened playing it, almost like someone was watching me the whole time; you did great with the storytelling, the graphics, the ambiance and spooking the hellsies out of me. Keep up the great work!
This game absolutely surprised me. I honestly thought it was going to be another short and cheesy horror game with cheap jumpscares and such, but I instead found myself completely on edge with the resonating fear that there was actually someone in the attic. Phenomenal job on this game! Feel free to check out my experience :)
No Jumpscares but honestly I was scared by the surroundings and the atmosphere, all the noises really brought fear to me. Great game and happy to play more :)
The atmosphere in this game was great. Also when the music started I thought that there was gonna be a jumpscare but there wasn`t. Still a pretty good psychological game.
First of all: I am jealous of your Blender skills! I've been into 3D for 2 years or more now and I never managed to create such an amazing level. To the game tho: It was absolutely smooth. It top'd everything I expected and I cannot even report any bug or issue with it. This is really well done! I had to laugh quite a bit when my very first instinct was to search for the attic and the character immediatly said that there is no reason to go there :D You made something really great here. Will definitely recommend it, follow, and all that kinda stuff!! I don't know if you thought about localizations before, but I am down to do EN to DE for you. I did not spot tooo much text during the gameplay - hope I didn't miss anything - but nonetheless I would love to make the game more accessible to other people! I can't wait for more to come!! 9.8/10 (never expect a 10)
-0.2 because the very slow movement speed at the start and no option to go just a little bit faster was irritating. I was afraid it'd kill my motivation to search and look around, but I still found myself looking at your stunning assets for.. let's just say: way too long ;)
also: i got a very outdated PC and its been a really long time since I played a game, looking so well, with an insane FPS rate. my eyes were literally making love with this game.
okay, i DO have 1 complain now that i just started the game again. Whenever a text popup appears (in windowed mode) my mouse is not registered by the game untill i click again. aka mouse gets draged outside the game window and player turning is locked. Small thing ;)
Coming from the stairs turning hard right you can walk on the sideboard and tv!
I had a pretty good time with this game! It was the second game I played! If you're curious about my experience, then you can check out the video on my channel or watch the video I posted here!
One thing I will mention however is that I think the walking speed is a little too slow, but I understand that this adds a form of dread. Otherwise maybe at the end have a button to go back to the menu, since I believe I had to Alt F4 the game to quit it. Or maybe there was a button and I was just blind lol
While I can relate to the fear of a stranger being in the attic, I had/have the fear of someone being in the basement.

Cool game!! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and it was actually really really scary. thank you so much for all the support and i hope you all enjoy this video!!
This was a lot of fun for me! Especially since I had a fear growing up a mysterious man in the house (but not in the attic since I never grew up with one). so it was like revising old childhood fears!
This game is short, but oh so sweet. It really captures the essence of fear of the unknown and keeps you guessing and scared the whole time. Honestly well done. You can watch me freak out over nothing here:
Usually I dont watch the promo youtube videos on itch comments, idk why i clicked on yours. I dont regret it - I LOVE the way you gave your review in the end. You are finding just the right words in the right tone. Additionally: I love your accent, cant determine where its from, guessing australia?
Thank you MattIvory! I appreciate someone liking my content and way about things. I love indie horror, and some of it is just fantastic. I am English born but American raised so a real accent mix.
This is well done! I expected there to be a man in the attic, but instead you captured a childhood fear! The atmosphere was amazing, and really well done. Too bad I forgot to double check my audio, but great game. I really recommend it!

You had me with the title, it’s so ominous! I love that a story like this has been told so many times but you designed the game in a way (the slow walking, the lighting, the storytelling) that it was incredibly creepy. It felt like a little creepypasta in gaming format. Really cool, I enjoyed this very much (also the restraint in not going overboard with visuals and sound is very appreciated, it worked wonders on the atmosphere).

The atmosphere was done well and the way you made your own fear into a horror experience was pretty well done!

Great game!!
Have you ever heard a strange noise at night and thought there was a man in your attic? Well you better go check.
Don't keep him waiting!
Very high detailed game !! Not so cheesy as other horror games but still gave you that anxious/horrid feeling. Would love to see a full game :D

Excellent atmosphere and story-telling! Really gets you creeped out with minimal elements. ^^I was once also afraid of a man living in my attic.
GREAT GRAPHICS :) i wish it could be more..

Hey, just finished playing it! Awesome sound design and atmosphere! The dead silence before the sounds started really sold it!
fUCKING WASTE OF TIME, PLAYED FOR OVER 15 MINUTES JUST FOR IT TO END WITH NO MAN IN THE ATTIC AT ALL. DA FAQ 0/10 STARS
I think you are the first person that actually wanted to meet the man in the attic, thats respectable!
muy buen juego de terror! traduccion en español
Y’all ever peed in spanish? Like if you agree 🙏

A lot of creepy vibes. Was more psychological horror than anything which made it extra spooky. Great work :D
That had some really creepy moments! My daughter and I were both on edge with the good spooky sounds in the attic too! Thanks for the game!

Short game play that is very story driven. No jump scares but there is a creepiness about the story that I liked.
